Evidence-informed. Experience-guided.
Every coach has a philosophy.
Mine is grounded on one belief:
Performance isn't built through perfect nutrition. It's built by creating a fueling system you understand, trust, and can repeat.
As endurance athletes, we're often taught to look for the next nutrition strategy, supplement, or meal plan. But lasting performance rarely comes from finding the "perfect" answer. It comes from understanding how your own body responds to training, learning from those responses, and building a system that evolves with you.
My role isn't to give you all the answers.
It's to teach you how to find them.
At Vital Motion Wellness, success isn't measured by perfect eating or flawless execution.
It's measured by steadier energy, more consistent training, better recovery, and the confidence that comes from knowing your body is prepared to do what you're asking of it.
Because when you understand your body, you stop chasing perfect days.
You start building a performance system you can trust.
THE VMW Approach
VMW Framework
-
Your fueling should work in real life, not just on paper.
Instead of relying on rigid meal plans or one-size-fits-all recommendations, we'll build a practical fueling system that fits your training, your schedule, and your goals. One that supports long runs, recovery days, race weekends, travel, busy work weeks, and everything in between.
Because consistency drives adaptation.
The goal isn't to follow a plan forever.
It's to build a system you can return to, refine, and rely on throughout every season of training.
-
Your body is always communicating with you.
Energy, hunger, recovery, sleep, gastrointestinal comfort, mood, cravings, and workout quality aren't random experiences - they're valuable feedback.
Together, we'll develop the skills to recognize patterns, identify early changes, and understand what your body is asking for before small challenges become bigger obstacles.
This isn't about chasing perfection.
It's about becoming fluent in your body's language so you can respond with confidence instead of guesswork.
-
I don't believe good coaching creates dependence.
I believe it builds independence.
My goal is to help you understand the "why" behind every recommendation so you can confidently adapt your fueling as your training, life, and goals evolve. Whether you're preparing for your first race, training for an ultramarathon, or simply trying to feel stronger and more consistent, you'll leave with the knowledge and confidence to make decisions that support your performance.
Because confidence doesn't come from following instructions.
It comes from understanding the principles behind them.
